We seek someone who can support the accounting department by managing financial records, processing transactions, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Prior experience in an industrial setting may be an advantage.

Requirements
Educational Background: Typically an accounting degree or relevant professional qualification (e.g., AAT Level 2 or higher),
Technical Skills: Some experience in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel
Attention to Detail: Accuracy in financial data entry, reconciliations, and reporting
Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze financial information and support decision-making
Communication Skills

Responsibilities
• Financial Record Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, invoices, and expense tracking
• Reconciliation: Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations and verify account balances to ensure accuracy
• Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, profit and loss reports, and management accounts
• Budget Support: Aid in budget preparation, monitoring expenditures, and analysing financial data to support organisational planning
• Payroll and Tax Compliance: Process payroll, manage employee expense reimbursements, and assist with statutory filings such as VAT returns and other tax-related documents
• Audit Assistance: Provide documentation and support during external audits
• Stock Records : Keep stock records.
• Credit Control: Monitor credits granted and their collections
• Administrative Support.
