DevOps Engineer

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
• 3 - 5 years professional experience in DevOps
• Containerisation and microservice build and deployment - Docker, Kubernetes
• Proficient with Python and Bash. Able to read, understand, and troubleshoot code in Elixir, PHP, JavaScript, or similar languages alongside developers.
• Experience building reusable Terraform code and modules. Experience migrating existing cloud resources into IaC management is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with Prometheus, Grafana, and Loki, including instrumenting services, building dashboards, and defining alerting rules for logs and metrics.
• Experience with AWS and Azure
• Optimisation of the application for maximum speed and scalability
• Experience working with Agile teams.
• Experience with Git, Jenkins, Docker, Ansible/Chef/Puppet or similar tools
• Pride in readable, well-designed/architected, well-tested software.
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and key-value stores ( Redis)
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Experience incorporating best security practices into the SDLC process.
