Junior Backend Engineer

Requirements

Candidates with 0–3 years of relevant experience are welcome to apply. Strong academic projects, internships, personal projects, or open-source contributions can count as relevant experience.

Applicants should have:
Basic to intermediate knowledge of PHP.
Some practical knowledge or exposure to Drupal, preferably Drupal 9 or 10.
A basic understanding of Symfony and Symfony-based application development.
Understanding of REST APIs and backend application development.
Basic knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
Familiarity with Git and version control.
Basic knowledge of software testing and debugging.
The ability to read and understand an existing codebase.
Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
A willingness to learn and work with an existing production platform.
This opportunity is particularly suitable for junior developers and early-career backend engineers who have a good foundation in PHP and some exposure to Drupal and Symfony.
